I work for the West Contra Costa Unified School District, in the Department of Student Welfare and Attendance.
Explicitly, cultivating relationships between truant students, their families, and the school site. It starts there..........open communication is vital, and the first step to discussing what support(s) may be helpful in achieving regular school attendance, and student success. I absolutely love my work.
