About me
I am the Director of Student Support Services for Alhambra Unified School District. In addition to our Gateway to Success Counseling Program, we have been building our Tier One mental health program through SEL, development of wellness rooms, and adding restorative practices across all three tiers. We have also revamped our process for assessing students at risk for self harm. In partnership with UCLA and Duke Universities we have employed a strength-based process called Safety A.
