About me
Sarah Adams has over 20 years of experience in a multitude of settings and grade spans and currently serves as the Senior Director of Student Support Services for Springs Charter Schools. Prior to that, she was a charter school principal for over 12 years in both K-8 and 6-12th grade settings. Before her career in education, Sarah served in the US Army as an Engineer and built bridges, roads, and airstrips in places near and far. She holds two Master’s degrees, one in teaching history and one in consciousness studies as well as credentials in Social Science, Math, and Administrative Services. In addition to education, Sarah also teaches and speaks on topics related to mindfulness, Restorative Practices, and consciousness. She is committed to supporting learning experiences that allow all students to thrive, recognizing the inherent value in all backgrounds and diverse expressions. Although she has lived all over the world, San Diego has been her home for most of her life. Sarah has two grown children and enjoys hiking, dancing, reading and playing soccer in her free time.
