About me
Maria is the co-founder of S4, a consulting firm that focuses training and support in areas under student services. Her experience and knowledge come from having served as a teacher and an administrator at the site, district, and county level. Maria has conducted hundreds of presentations throughout the state, prepared publications that help guide the work of educators (most notably, “California Laws Relating to Minors”), and craft language for bills that are now state law. She was recognized as ACSA's Pupil Personnel Administrator of the Year in 2012 and was presented with CASCWA's Lee Lundberg Outstanding Service Award in 2016.
