Kevin Givan, MSW, is a Senior Program Specialist in the Child Welfare and Attendance Unit at the Los Angeles County Office of Education. A graduate of San Jose State University and the University of Washington, Kevin is a dedicated professional with a strong background in educational services, having worked across various non-profits and K–12 school districts.
With passion, creativity, and a commitment to evidence-based practices, he provides technical assistance to help improve program services and student outcomes. Kevin is an experienced presenter on a wide range of topics, including attendance strategies, school discipline, improving school climate, and understanding foster youth educational laws. He remains committed to empowering educators and school leaders to create positive and equitable experiences for all students.
