About me
Hello,everyone,
My name is Sanara Fulmore and it is my pleasure to serve the districts within Alameda County as an Education Liaison. I am new to the Alameda County Office of Education team, but not new to supporting students with attendance concerns. As a former educator for SPED and the regular education setting, I am all too familiar with barriers to students attending school on a regular basis. And I'm a mother.... of a TEENAGER! Of COURSE we've had attendance concerns.
I pull from these experiences to be empathic and understanding to our families, as well as support district SARB/SART meetings,helping find realistic solutions that will place the attendance needs of our students as top priority. Whether it be home visits, attendance supports meetings or helping to create the infrastructure of ACOE's Attendance Supports program, I am happy to be here and ready to serve.
